Liquid Acrygel

Liquid Acrygel

Products: 22

Liquid acrygel combines the strength of acrylic with the comfort of working with gel – you apply it with a brush straight from the bottle and, once cured, you get a hard structure. In this category you will find the Julia Nessa Liquid AcrylicGel line in eleven shades, each in 12 ml and 50 ml. The medium, self-levelling consistency does not run onto the cuticles and evens itself out on the nail plate.

Liquid acrygel – what it is and how it differs from gel

Liquid acrygel combines the strength of acrylic with the comfort of working with gel. You work with it the way you work with gel – pick it up with a brush straight from the bottle and spread it on the nail plate – and once cured you get a hard, stable structure that resists mechanical damage.

In the Julia Nessa Liquid AcrylicGel line the formula has a medium, self-levelling consistency. In practice this means two things: the product does not run onto the cuticles, so you have full control over application, and at the same time it levels itself on the nail plate and leaves a smooth surface. Less filing at the end of the job.

Liquid acrygel does not yellow and works well with the natural nail plate. We give the curing time in a 48W DUAL LED lamp on each product page – it depends on the thickness of the layer.

Liquid AcrylicGel – eleven shades in two sizes

Every shade has the same formula and differs only in colour. You can buy all of them in a 12 ml bottle with a brush and in a larger 50 ml pack for regular work in the salon.

Liquid AcrylicGel Clear is a transparent shade and the most versatile in the line – it does not impose a colour, so it works well for strengthening the natural nail plate and as a structural layer under colour.

The pink shades are Light Pink, Soft Pink, Pastel Pink, Milky Pink, Pink and Dusty Rose – from very light to saturated and cooler. The beige group includes Light Beige and Natural Beige, which mask the regrowth line well. There are also two shades with a warm undertone: Natural Gold and Pink Gold.

How to work with liquid acrygel step by step

  • Prepare the nail plate and remove the dust left after filing.
  • Degrease the nail plate with a nail dehydrator – for example Nail Fresh – and then apply an adhesion-boosting product.
  • Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure.
  • Pick up the acrygel with a brush straight from the bottle and spread it on the nail plate. Give the product a moment to self-level, then shape the desired form and apex.
  • For extensions, work on a dual form or a nail form.
  • Cure for 30 seconds in a 48W DUAL LED lamp.
  • Refine the shape with a nail file and move on to colour or top coat. For corrections and removing the product, gel removal bit No.1 works well.

Liquid acrygel needs less filing than classic acrylic, because the self-levelling formula evens out the surface by itself. When working with a client, this means a shorter appointment and less dust on your nail desk.

Liquid acrygel vs Dual AcrylicGel – which to choose

We offer two forms of acrygel. Liquid AcrylicGel is the liquid version, in a bottle with a brush – you apply it directly, without picking up product from a jar. Dual AcrylicGel is the classic, thicker consistency in a 15 ml jar, which you transfer to the nail plate with a spatula and shape with a tool. With this version you also work on dual forms and you can pinch the C-curve.

The liquid version works well for overlays on the natural nail plate, strengthening and subtle extensions. If you are building longer structures and want a product you can freely sculpt in place, reach for the Dual version. You will find both lines in the acrygels category.

Who liquid acrygel is for

It is a good choice for nail stylists who want to shorten the appointment without giving up durability. The liquid consistency is more forgiving at the application stage – the product does not run onto the cuticles, and self-levelling does part of the job for you.

It also works well for clients with weak, thin nail plates. An acrygel overlay stiffens the nail and protects it from damage in everyday life, and the nail set lasts longer than on gel polish base alone.

If you work with the no-file technique, also take a look at the no-file technique gels – they have a different consistency, suited to that method of working.

Product safety and storage

Liquid acrygels are products for professional use. Use them only on a healthy, undamaged nail plate and avoid contact with the skin around the nail – uncured material may cause an allergic reaction.

Store the bottles tightly closed in their original packaging, away from light sources. When filing the cured product, work with a nail dust collector to limit exposure to dust – this applies to all building materials, not only acrygel.

The full ingredients of each product are given on its page in the shop. All Julia Nessa liquid acrygels are made in Europe.

Liquid acrygel – frequently asked questions

Can I use liquid acrygel for nail extensions?

Yes. Liquid AcrylicGel is suitable for extensions on a dual form or nail form, as well as for overlays and rebalances – whatever the length of the nails.

How long should liquid acrygel be cured?

You will find the curing time in a 48W DUAL LED lamp on the product page. For a thicker layer, extend it so the product cures through its whole length.

Does liquid acrygel yellow?

No. The Liquid AcrylicGel formula does not yellow, including in the Clear shade.

Which volume should I choose to start with?

A 12 ml bottle is enough to get to know the consistency and try the shade on a few clients. For regular work in the salon, the 50 ml pack is better value.

The choice of shade depends on how you want the natural nail plate to look under the colour – Clear does not change it, while beiges and pinks subtly mask the regrowth line.
