Coloured builder gel – how it differs from a clear one
This kind of builder gel does two jobs: it creates the structure of the nail and gives ready-made colour at the same time. The set is done in fewer steps, and nails in beige, pink or milky white look natural and elegant. The gels in this category contain no glitter, so they give a smooth, even colour. The versions with shimmering glitter are collected separately in the cover builder gels with glitter category.
Four gel lines for professional work
- Jelly Cover – the hardest gel in the Julia Nessa range, with a jelly-like consistency. Made for demanding sets, extreme shapes and structured French. Colours: Beige and Pink.
- Master – a gel with a pudding-like consistency that gives you full control over the product and lets you build several nails at once without worrying about flooding the cuticles. It holds the C-curve without pinching. Colours: Pink, Cloud Pink and White for structured French and 3D nail art.
- Smooth Gel – a hard gel that also levels by itself. It works well on the natural nail plate and for extensions on a nail form. Colours: Candy Pink, Dusty Rose, Flamingo Pink, Light Pink, Nude, Silky White and Lilac.
- Tixy Cover – a medium-hard gel with thixotropy, more flexible than Smooth Gel. Colours: Natural, Milky, Pink, Petit Pink, Sugar Pink, Hot Pink, Marshmallow and Rosy Tan.
How to choose a gel for your nail set
The choice depends on your working technique and the length of the nails. For long nails and extreme shapes, choose Jelly Cover or Master. If you like the gel to level the surface by itself, reach for Smooth Gel. For nail plates that need a more flexible product, Tixy Cover is a better fit. Choose the shade for the effect you want: beiges and nudes give the most natural look, and white is for French.
