This is a versatile shade that suits everyday nail sets and work. The satin shine lifts it above an ordinary nude without turning it into an evening colour.
How the cat eye effect is created
The polish contains particles that react to a magnetic field. A magnet held over the freshly applied layer lines them up in parallel, and curing in the lamp locks that arrangement in place for good.
In the satin line, the particles scatter light more softly than in the classic version – instead of one sharp line, you get a pearly glow. The magnet still matters: held closer to the nail plate, the effect is more defined; further away, it is softer. With our 3-in-1 magnet you can create several patterns with one tool.

How to use
- Prepare the natural nail plate and remove the filing dust.
- Degrease the nail plate and apply an adhesion promoter.
- Apply a base coat and cure it in the lamp.
- Spread the polish with smooth strokes from top to bottom. The layer should be even – where there is too little colour, the particles will not line up properly.
- Before curing, hold the magnet over the nail for a few seconds. Do not touch the polish with the magnet.
- Cure, adjusting the time to the power of your lamp.
- If needed, apply a second layer and repeat with the magnet.
- Finish with a top coat and cure. We recommend High Gloss Top – the no-wipe version needs no wiping, and its high shine brings out the shimmer even more.

Do I need a special magnet for cat eye?

How many layers of polish should I apply?
Usually two – the first builds the colour, the second evens out the coverage. Work with the magnet separately on each layer before you cure it in the lamp.
How long should I cure it?
120 seconds in a 36W UV lamp or 30 seconds in a 48W DUAL LED lamp.
Why isn’t the effect working?
Most often because the layer of polish is too thin or the magnet was not held long enough. Also check that the magnet is directly over the nail, not beside it.
What is the difference between the satin and classic versions?
The character of the shine. This polish belongs to the satin line – instead of a sharp, defined effect, it creates a soft, pearly glow over the whole nail plate. The classic versions give a defined, contrasting line.
Do I need to finish the nail set with a top coat?
Yes, just like any gel polish manicure. The top coat protects the colour and brings out the shine of the shimmer – High Gloss Top in the no-wipe version works well. You’ll find the other shades in this series in the cat eye gel polishes category.
