OMGel Vanilla Rose 8 ml builder gel in a bottle is a smaller size of a warm pink with a subtle peachy note – a baby boomer gel that lets you get to know the shade before you reach for the larger bottle. It works just like the other colours in the builder gels in a bottle category: it is self-levelling, medium-hard, and you apply it with a brush straight from the bottle.

Baby boomer gel in a smaller bottle – get to know the warm pink

The peachy note gives a soft, natural effect and looks best on warmer skin tones. That’s why it’s worth doing a few nail sets with it first and seeing how it looks on your clients’ complexions. In a baby boomer manicure it covers the pink part at the base, and you add the white at the free edge separately so that the colour transition is smooth, like an ombre.

If you like the shade and it starts appearing often in your schedule, switch to Vanilla Rose 15 ml. For everyday work, the larger bottle is simply more convenient.

Gel in a small bottle – the stages of work step by step

OMGel is not an acrygel: the bottle contains only gel, which gives you colour and structure at the same time – like a builder gel in a shade of pink. Shape the nail, remove the dust, degrease it with Nail Fresh, then apply SuperBond and a thin layer of Thin Base 2.0 base coat. Apply Vanilla Rose leaving a gap at the nail folds and neatly close off the edges with the brush – the self-levelling formula helps even out the shape of the nail.

Curing takes 30 s in a 48W DUAL LED lamp and 120 s in a 36W UV lamp. Then wipe the sticky (inhibition) layer with nail cleanser. Extend only slightly, and only on a form or nail form.
