Opis produktu
The transparent formula means one thing: this one product suits the whole colour chart. You don’t need to buy a flash version separately for reds, separately for nudes and separately for graphite – you put 978 over whatever the client has already chosen.
Important when working: the base is transparent, but the particles themselves have a colour – gold-green. On light and cool shades they can slightly warm up the colour or shift it towards green. Before the first nail set for a client, it’s worth checking the combination on the colour chart.
Where the flash effect comes from
The polish contains suspended gold-green particles with a special structure, including glass ones. They reflect spot light straight back to its source instead of scattering it sideways like ordinary glitter.
That’s why the nail set behaves in two ways. In diffused daylight it looks calm, with a delicate shine. Under a lamp, in spotlights or in a photo taken with a phone flash it lights up so that the nails become the brightest point in the frame.
Features
- A transparent base – suits the whole colour chart
- Flash particles in gold-green
- Applied directly over a gel or gel polish
- The particles reflect spot light straight back to its source
- The effect is most visible under a lamp and in photos taken with a flash
- For professional use
How to use
- Complete the nail set – the colour or gel must be cured.
- Spread FLASH 978 polish in an even layer over the finished colour.
- Cure in the lamp, adjusting the time to its power.
- If you want a stronger effect, apply a second layer and cure again.
- Finish with a top coat and cure. High Gloss Top in the no-wipe version works well – a smooth, high-gloss surface lets more light through to the particles.
When choosing a top coat, remember one thing: a matte finish almost completely dims the effect, because a matte surface scatters the light before it reaches the particles. With flash, stick to a glossy top coat.
What it looks best on
On dark colours the contrast is greatest – the gold-green points of light stand out strongly against the background. It looks best on black, burgundy, bottle green and graphite shades.
On light and nude shades the effect is subtler, more pearly, but remember the colour of the particles: on cool pinks and greys the gold-green reflection can shift the colour in a warmer direction. This isn’t a flaw, but a characteristic worth knowing before you apply the product on a client.
Flash can be applied to all the nails or only to selected ones, leaving the rest in plain colour. It also looks good on just the tip in a French manicure.
How to show the effect to a client
It’s worth bearing this in mind at your nail desk. A client sitting in diffused light may not see what she paid for – flash needs spot light to come alive.
The simplest way: take a photo with your phone with the flash on. An effect that looks subtle in person will light up fully on the screen.

What can I apply FLASH 978 polish over?
Directly over a gel or a gel polish. The base is transparent, so the colour underneath stays visible – this one product suits the whole colour chart.
Does FLASH 978 change the colour underneath?
The base is transparent, but the particles have a gold-green colour and can slightly affect the shade. On dark colours the difference is imperceptible; on cool light ones, the golden reflection can warm them up slightly. Before the first nail set, it’s worth checking the combination on the colour chart.
Why isn’t the effect sparkling?
Mostly because of the light. Flash needs a strong, direct light source – in diffused daylight it looks calm, and that is normal. Check the nail set under a lamp or take a photo with flash.
Does the flash effect work under a matte top coat?
Hardly at all. A matte surface scatters the light before it reaches the particle, so the effect almost disappears. For flash, use a glossy top coat.
How many layers should I apply?
One is usually enough. If you want a stronger, denser effect, apply a second layer and cure again.
How is flash different from glitter?
In the way it reflects light. Glitter sparkles constantly and evenly, whatever the lighting. Flash reflects direct light straight back to its source, so it only flares up in strong light and looks much stronger in photos than in real life.
Which colour does it look best on?
Contrast is greatest on dark shades – especially black, burgundy, bottle green and graphite, where the gold-green particle really stands out. On light and nude shades the effect is subtler and more pearly.
