Rose Milkshake – a cool-toned shade for soft French

The name is no accident: the colour recalls a chilled rose milkshake. The cool tone with a violet reflection stops the pink drifting towards peach, so it pairs beautifully with white. It’s a cooler take on pink than the warm, sweet shades – calm, elegant and very “clean” in how it comes across.

Step by step – how to prep the nail for OMGel

First work the nails and remove all the dust thoroughly. For an infill, start by working on the regrowth so the new layer has an even base. Then degrease the surface with Nail Fresh nail dehydrator, apply SuperBond and a thin layer of Thin Base 2.0.

Now for the colour. The bottle with a brush gives you control over how much product you use – a little OMGel in the middle of the nail, a moment to let it spread, then cure. For light extensions you work on a form. Finally, wipe off the sticky (inhibition) layer with nail cleanser.
