Opis produktu
Shank size: 2.35 mm (3/32") – fits all the most popular e-files.
A delicate diamond teardrop bit – what it is used for
The main job of the No.1 bit is to clear hardened skin that forms under the nail fold, in the corners of the nail fold and along the side wall. What sets it apart is that it seals the skin very well, polishing and smoothing it – so cuticle work during a nail set ends with a smooth, neat finish around the nail. The gentle strength means you can work precisely where a stronger bit would be too intense.
- Shape: teardrop.
- Grit: diamond, very finely ground.
- Strength marking: mint – gentle strength.
- Action: clears hardened skin and polishes, smoothing the skin.
- Shank: 2.35 mm (3/32 inch) – fits all the most popular e-files.
- Skill level: any.
Among cuticle bits you will find various shapes – from a ball to a teardrop, a truncated cone or a trapezoid – and different grit strengths, marked by the colour of the stripe on the shank. It is a simpler equivalent of the grit gradation you know from nail files: a mint stripe means gentle strength, so it is easy to choose the right bit for the condition of your client’s skin.
Diamond Cuticle Bit No.1 – why it is worth having
Like all Julia Nessa tools, this bit stands up well to disinfection and sterilisation, and the diamond grit stays effective for a long time, which is why diamond bits are associated with high resistance to abrasion. That matters with delicate, sensitive skin – the diamond grit works evenly over the whole surface of the head, which reduces the risk of damaging the nail plate and lets you stay precise even at low speeds.
How to use Cuticle Bit No.1 step by step
The delicate teardrop needs a light hand – that is when it is easiest to stay precise on thin skin:
- Insert the clean bit into the e-file chuck and check that the shank is firmly locked in place.
- Set a low speed and increase it gradually, watching how your client’s skin reacts.
- Guide the bit smoothly along the nail fold, without pressure, clearing the area under the fold, the corners of the nail fold and the side walls in turn.
- Finish by lightly polishing the skin to smooth it and seal it.
- After the treatment, clean dust and skin debris off the tip, then disinfect and sterilise it following the procedures used in your studio.
Prepared this way, your e-file and the right technique let you work the cuticles professionally even on clients with a very sensitive nail plate. It is a professional, reusable bit that makes precise work easier in every nail set – in classic and combination manicure.
Who Bit No.1 is for and when to choose another variant
The bit is designed for every skill level. If you are only just learning to work with an e-file, the gentle strength will help you get a feel for how to guide the tip around the nail folds. If you are an experienced nail stylist, you will appreciate it with clients who have very thin, sensitive skin and at the finishing stage, when you want to smooth the nail folds.
For thick, dry skin, the stronger diamond Cuticle Bit No.17 with a pink marking will work better. If you are looking for another bit with gentle strength, see Cuticle Bit No.21, which combines two bits in one. In the No.1 variant group you will also find Cuticle Bit No.5.
