The lemon NessaUV lac 408 gel polish is a light, warm yellow that does something no other shade can: it instantly adds energy and makes even the simplest outfit look as if a world-class designer had created it. It brings to mind a slice of freshly cut lemon in a glass of iced water, or a ray of May sunshine. A yellow manicure takes courage, but the kind that earns compliments rather than pointed fingers. It contrasts beautifully with dark clothes, and with lighter ones too. It looks great on holiday with a white dress and a straw hat, and even at work on a more relaxed day, when the dress code stops mattering.

The formula is surprisingly opaque, especially for such a light shade. The pigment lays down cleanly, with no streaks or patchiness – something we’re used to mainly from working with black or navy. The consistency helps too: it is surprisingly light, yet easy to control.
