Sterilisation pouches 100x260 mm – 200 pcs in a pack

SALTEC self-adhesive sterilisation pouches 100x260 mm are disposable pouches made of medical paper and transparent film. You pack washed and disinfected tools in them, sterilise them in the autoclave, and then store them in the sealed pouch until the next client. The pack contains 200 pouches.

Each pouch has a double sterilisation indicator – outside and inside. The indicator clearly changes colour once the process is complete, so you can tell at once which pouches have been sterilised and which are still waiting. You can see through the film what is inside – you do not need to open the pouch to find the right tool.

Which tools is the 100x260 mm size suitable for?

100x260 mm pouches are suitable for a complete manicure set for one client (nippers, scissors, cuticle pusher) and for larger pedicure tools. The tools should lie loosely in the pouch, with some room for folding the strip – then the pouch closes well and the steam reaches every spot. How do I pack tools for sterilisation?

• ♥ Wash and disinfect the tools (tool disinfectant liquids), and if necessary clean them in an ultrasonic cleaner and dry them thoroughly.
• ♥ Place the tools in the pouch.
• ♥ Remove the protective tape covering the adhesive.
• ♥ Fold the strip along the perforation and press down firmly.
• ♥ Put the pouches in the autoclave. To check that the process also worked inside the pouch, add a sterilisation control strip of class 4 or 5.
