Opis produktu
Roll of 100 pcs
Foil nail forms for nail extensions – key features
- Version: modern.
- Material: foil, stiffer than paper.
- Performance in use: the forms do not bend.
- Use: salon work and avant-garde shapes.
- Pack: roll of 100 pieces.
The material of the form affects how steadily it holds the product. Good forms do not sag when you apply gel or acrygel – foil is stiffer than paper, so it is easier to keep to the planned extension line. The modern version is the choice for a stylist who wants to work precisely – including on longer and more demanding shapes.
Plastic nail forms vs paper nail forms
If you have been working with paper forms so far, the first difference you will notice is rigidity. A paper form deforms more easily under the weight of the product, while plastic foil forms do not bend. White forms differ from pink ones: white forms are stiffer, have additional guide lines for avant-garde shapes, a different shape and are longer. A small roll is a good way to check whether this type of form suits your technique.
How to use nail forms for extensions – a quick-start guide
- Prepare the nail plate according to your technique and remove the dust thoroughly, e.g. with a dust brush.
- Take the form off the roll and place it under the free edge of the nail so that it sits snugly with no gap.
- Check from the side and from the front that the form sits straight relative to the axis of the client’s finger.
- Apply gel or acrygel, e.g. Dual AcrylicGel Milky 15 ml acrygel, and model the structure.
- Cure the product in a UV/LED lamp according to the instructions of the system you work with, then remove the form.
- Give the nail its final shape with a nail file and smooth the surface, e.g. with a 120/120 buffer block.
- If the product leaves a sticky (inhibition) layer in the gel method, wipe it with nail cleanser and move on to colour, e.g. gel polish.
Nail forms for extensions – the most common mistakes and the ideal fit
Most corrections come from a gap between the form and the natural plate – the product then flows under the form and has to be removed later. The second common mistake is a form set at an angle: the extension drifts down or sideways, and the nails on the two hands differ in shape. The third is too much product at the free edge of the nail, which weighs the form down. Stiff foil makes it easier to control each of these stages, and the durability of the nail set and a perfect result start with a well-placed form. Unlike tips, you remove the form after curing, and only the built structure in the chosen shape is left on the plate – from oval to almond.
100 pieces – who is the smaller roll for?
The smaller pack is useful when you are just starting out with extensions, practising extensions on models, or doing extensions only occasionally. It suits beginners and experienced stylists who want to try the modern version, and it is also a convenient choice for mobile work and for training courses. If you work with forms every day, the 500-piece roll will be more practical. For professional use only.
Place the nail form under the free edge so that it fits tightly against the plate – then the new nail keeps the correct line.
How do the modern 100-piece forms differ from the 500-piece ones?
It is the same type of form – the only difference is the number of pieces on the roll: 100 or 500.
Do the foil forms bend?
No. They are made of foil, which makes them stiffer than paper, and they do not bend.
Is the 100-piece roll enough for learning?
It is a good way to try the modern version and practise the technique without buying a large stock. When extensions become an everyday thing, switch to the bigger roll.
