Opis produktu
Milky acrygel Dual AcrylicGel Milky 15 ml is a combination of acrylic and gel, and by far the hardest Julia Nessa product designed for nail sets. It comes in a jar, and its consistency gives you full control over the product without flooding the cuticles. The milky shade works well as a neutral base for a structure. You will find the other shades and the liquid versions in the nail acrygels category.
Milky acrygel for nails – acrylic and gel in one
Dual AcrylicGel combines the hardness typical of acrylic with the comfort of working with gel products. The acrygel doesn’t set in the air – you shape it with a tool and a little nail cleanser, isopropyl alcohol or acetone, and it cures only in the lamp. That gives you time to calmly sculpt the perfect shape and a neat C-curve, and the product doesn’t run onto the cuticles.
- Hardness and adhesion – a stable structure for the nail set.
- 5 nails at once – the acrygel has a stable, thick consistency
- Can be pinched – it’s easier to shape the C-curve.
- Made for extreme shapes and for 3D nail art.
- Versatile – it suits every nail type.
- Volume: 15 ml in a jar, made in Europe.
Nail extensions with acrygel and nail sets on forms
You can use Dual AcrylicGel Milky to build and strengthen natural nails, to extend nails on a nail form and on upper forms such as dual forms. Complete Sandwich Dual Form Square forms, for example, suit the latter technique. You can also use it to fill in missing edges without placing a form underneath – handy when a client comes in with a broken-off piece of the free edge.
You can combine this product with standard gel, as well as with gel polish products, so it slots easily into your system. If you mostly work with gel in the salon, you can use Dual AcrylicGel where ordinary gel doesn’t give enough hardness, for example on very long shapes. The milky structure is a neutral background for colour or 3D nail art.
How to apply the product to the nail plate – a manicure step by step
- Prepare the nail plate, apply a base coat and cure it.
- Using a clean spatula, scoop a portion of the product from the jar and place the right amount on the nail plate.
- Dip a brush or orange stick in nail cleanser – just lightly dampen the tool.
- Spread the product to create the nail shape you want, and refine the apex.
- Cure in the lamp, adjusting the time to its power – in a 48W DUAL LED lamp it is 90 seconds.
An Acrylic-Gel brush 6 mm comes in handy for shaping nails. After curing in the lamp, refine the shape with a nail file or an e-file – tungsten carbide bits are suitable for shortening and removing product, for example the Dual gel removal bit. Avoid exposure to product dust when filing.
Mistakes when working with acrygel – and how to avoid them
- Too much cleanser – excess liquid makes precise shaping harder; the tool should only be damp.
- Skipping nail plate prep – without degreasing and a base coat it is hard to get good adhesion and a long-lasting nail set.
- Curing for too short a time or building too thin a structure – both can make cracks more likely; always match the time to the power of your lamp.
When to choose Dual acrygel and when Liquid – advice for nail stylists
The Dual AcrylicGel line in a jar lets you shape the product with a tool, pinch the C-curve and build extreme lengths – a good choice for extensions and for sculpting nails in demanding shapes. If you prefer a self-levelling consistency, take a look at Liquid AcrylicGel Clear 12 ml. The 12 ml version comes in a bottle with a brush, and a 50 ml variant in a jar is available separately. The liquid versions combine the durability of acrylic with the comfort of a gel and were made to strengthen the natural plate; the curing time is 30 seconds in a 48W DUAL LED lamp.
The Milky shade comes in 15 ml and 30 ml sizes. The Dual line also includes Blush, Natural, Pink and Pink Rose – you can pick the tone to suit the effect you have in mind.
Who is this product for?
Dual AcrylicGel Milky was created for nail stylists who do long and extreme shapes as well as 3D nail art. In a professional salon you will appreciate being able to build five nails at once – the consistency makes for comfortable work, and you stay in control while working on the whole hand. It is also a practical choice for strengthening the nails of clients who want a hard, stable structure. What sets it apart from other nail products is above all its hardness.
