Opis produktu
Milky builder gel to try – Silky Touch in the 8 ml version
The clean nails effect looks simple, but every client has a different nail plate and skin tone. Before you add this colour to your price list for good, try it on a few people and see how the porcelain pink behaves at your usual layer thickness. Coverage is easiest to judge on a colour chart and on a real hand, and a small bottle lets you do that without risk.
When Silky Touch turns out to be a hit in your appointment book, move up to OMGel Silky Touch 15 ml. The formula is identical, only the volume is different.
Milky gel in a set of shades – milky pink next to Clear and Vanilla Rose
Small bottles are the simplest way to put together a palette at your nail desk. Silky Touch gives a natural, well-groomed nail effect, Clear works as a transparent structural layer under the coloured shades, and the warm OMGel Vanilla Rose 8 ml, with its peach hint, completes the set for clients with warmer skin tones. A milky shade in the porcelain version and a warm pink side by side – two safe everyday choices.
The 8 ml version also comes in handy when the clean, minimalist look is only just entering your range and you don’t yet know how many clients will ask for it.
Builder gel for training and a mobile nail desk
In class, students practise baby boomer, and Silky Touch as a base colour for these techniques shows what a clean, subtle background should look like. The instructor hands out small bottles to every nail desk, so nobody waits for a shared pack, and after the course the stylist can take the same product to her own work.
When working on the go, you’ll appreciate fast work and a tidy bag. A bottle with a brush needs no spatula or opening a pot, and you can fit all your preparations in one make-up bag together with the lamp.
What is this nail gel – formula and use
OMGel is a pure builder gel – not an acrygel, which combines gel with acrylic. It has medium hardness and relies on self-levelling properties: after application it levels itself on the plate, which makes it easier to even out the surface. It is used for building up, i.e. strengthening the natural nail plate, for infills and for light nail extensions on a form. After curing a sticky (inhibition) layer remains, to be wiped off.
Order of work with Thin Base 2.0 base coat – from file, through dust, to lamp
Shape the nail plate with a file and remove all the dust. Degrease the nail with Nail Fresh nail dehydrator, apply SuperBond, which is responsible for adhesion, and then a thin layer of Thin Base 2.0.
Apply Silky Touch from the middle of the nail, leaving a small gap from the cuticles, and give it a moment to spread. For light extensions, build the free edge on a form. Then cure in the lamp – 120 seconds in a 36W UV lamp or 30 seconds in a 48W DUAL LED lamp – and wipe the nail with nail cleanser.
Clean nails, French, baby boomer and a background for nail art – a manicure in porcelain pink
On its own, Silky Touch gives a subtle, natural effect: nails look healthy and well-groomed, with no sense of a thick layer of colour. It’s a shade for clients who want neat hands for work, for family occasions and for everyday wear. As a base it carries a white tip beautifully, as well as the soft transition of baby boomer and minimalist designs – dots, lines, small motifs.
Milky builder gel 8 ml or 15 ml? Nail stylists’ questions
What do I apply after the Nail Fresh dehydrator?
After the Nail Fresh dehydrator you apply SuperBond, followed by Thin Base 2.0 base coat – that is the whole preparation sequence for OMGel.
Can I combine Silky Touch with other OMGel shades?
Yes. Clear can create a structural layer under it, and you work in the same order as with every colour in the line.
Which volume should I choose for the salon?
To start with and for testing – 8 ml. Once the shade becomes a permanent part of your nail sets, the larger bottle will be more convenient.
