A milky builder gel with a pudding-like consistency – what sets it apart

In practice, a pudding-like consistency means more time to refine the shape. The gel stays where you place it, so you can comfortably build several nails at once and only then put your client’s hand in the lamp. That’s real working comfort, especially with demanding structures. Despite its high thickness, the product self-levels, so the surface evens out without long corrections with the brush.

• Colour: milky – doesn’t yellow during curing and doesn’t change while worn.

A milky shade for sculpted French and baby boomer

It’s a classic that suits an elegant, natural manicure. The gel was created for sculpted French and fantasy French, and thanks to its thickness it also works for building extreme shapes. Because the colour doesn’t change during wear, the nail set looks the same from day one until your client’s next visit. That matters when you leave the structure without a colour on top and the nail set needs to look fresh throughout the wear time.

How to apply builder gel – step by step

Nail preparation determines the adhesion of the whole structure. Recommended order of work:

• Degrease and dehydrate the surface of the natural nail plate with Nail Fresh nail dehydrator.
• Once Nail Fresh has dried, apply SuperBond or a primer – choose the type of primer to suit your client’s nail.
• Work in the first layer of base coat and cure it. Under builder gel you can use, for example, Naked Base, which also works as a base for gels.
• Apply the gel in a thin layer over the cured base coat, then spread the right amount of product to build a perfect apex.
• Cure in the lamp, adjusting the time to its power – you’ll find the UV and LED times in the specification above.

You can leave the finished structure in this colour or cover it with a layer of gel polish, and finish with a top coat that gives the whole thing shine – it depends on the design agreed with your client.

Master Milky Gel 30 ml or another nail gel?

In the Julia Nessa gel system each series has its own character. Thixotropy, or “shape memory”, is a feature of the Tixy series – if you like working that way, take a look at the milky-white Tixy Cover Milky. If you plan to do nail extensions on forms, look at the Smooth Gel series – these are hard, self-levelling gels, also designed for nail extensions on forms, with the C-curve pinched after about 20 seconds in a DUAL LED lamp. The Master series is the choice for situations where a very thick consistency, a C-curve without pinching and time for calm building matter.
