Opis produktu
The shank size of the ceramic gel polish removal bit is 2.35 mm (3/32"). This ceramic bit will work without any problem with the most commonly used e-files found in most nail salons.
If you’re curious which e-file bits we have in our range and how to work with them, be sure to watch this episode.
Ceramic gel polish removal bit – features
- ♥ material: ceramic – very resistant to cracks and mechanical damage,
- ♥ marking: red band – fine grit,
- ♥ shape: cone, black tip on a gold shank,
- ♥ heat resistance: very high,
- ♥ for whom: right- and left-handed nail stylists, beginners and experienced,
- ♥ use: removing gel polish from fingernails and toenails.
This bit is not intended for removing gel or acrygel nail sets – a ceramic bit with a red marking is too delicate for such nail sets. To take off builder gel, choose a bit from the gel and gel polish removal bits category, e.g. the Gel Removal Bit No.2 Cameleon.
Types of e-file bits – which bit to choose for removing gel polish
- ♥ ceramic bit with a red band – a delicate bit for removing gel polish,
- ♥ tungsten carbide bit – for removing builder gel, e.g. the Dual gel removal bit,
- ♥ diamond bits – for working on cuticles and nail folds, from the cuticle bits category.
Choosing the right bit lowers the risk of damaging the nail plate: for gel polish alone, a fine grit and light pressure are enough.
How to remove gel polish with a ceramic bit
The specially designed teeth make removing an old manicure from the nail plate safe and painless. With the first few clients, a new bit takes the product off in fine shavings, and after a few manicures the gel polish comes off as dust.
- ♥ don’t press the bit too hard against the nail plate, especially when it is new,
- ♥ work only on the layer of polish – don’t touch the natural nail plate with the bit, because you could damage it,
- ♥ the high heat resistance will be appreciated especially by beginner nail stylists, who find it harder to sense the bit heating up.
Julia Nessa e-file bits stand up well to disinfection and sterilisation. The same bit in rose gold is the pink ceramic gel polish removal bit. To find out how to match a bit to the type of nail set, read our guide which bit to use for removing gel polish.

Will the ceramic bit fit my e-file?
The shank is 2.35 mm (3/32"), so the bit fits the most commonly used e-files.
Can the bit be sterilised?
